Iím super dependable. Itís true. But Iím also a bit of a risk-taker, but thatís only because Iím generally so reliable. Hydropower provides most of the countryís electricity, itís constantly at work and itís also emission-free. If you were that trustworthy, you might make the occasional base jump yourself.
Iím not necessarily as warm and cuddly as GasBOT, but once you plug me into a space heater, things can get mighty toasty. In fact, electricity is responsible for a quarter of all residential heating in Canada.
I donít have a lot to do with transportation directly, unless youíre counting boats. But I am connected to Canadaís transportation is when it comes to electric vehicles.

How does it work?
Like all plants that use turbines to generate electricity, hydro plants just need to get their turbines turning. There are two kinds of hydro projects found throughout the country.
