Coast to Coast to Coast

The Centre for Energy's Canada's Energy Map is a singular resource for Canadians who want to learn about where their energy is produced and how it reaches their homes.

With provincial energy industry statistics (updated annually) Canada's Energy Map is the simplest way to answer the question: "Where is Canada's energy?" Add in relevant facts about energy in Canada as well as the ability to dynamically display each energy source's location with a click, and Canada's Energy Map is a valuable tool for encouraging energy literacy.

In September 2010 the map appeared in the Globe and Mail special information feature produced for the World Energy Congress. The map was also supplied to NRCan for their use at the event. And, in the same year, the Alberta energy map was featured in the inaugural issue of JuneWarren's Energize Alberta publication, as well as on the Alberta is Energy website.
