This resource (Teacher Guide, 604KB PDF), features activities that are sequenced to build an understanding of concepts and a competency in increasingly more complex thinking skills. Students will be encouraged to synthesize ideas, evaluate information sources, suit the tone of oval, print and media text and use conventions accurately and effectively.

The activities prompt an understanding of how technology affects our way of life and that in a mixed economy; decisions are made by both the public and private sectors.
