Labour shortage
It is expected that nearly 400,000 jobs will be created in Alberta over the next 10 years, but only 300,000 new workers are expected to enter the labour market. This means the province may face a shortfall that may be as high as 100,000 workers. The Alberta government has released a long-term strategy to combat skill and labour shortages in the province, and is asking Albertans for input.   More...
