CHA, CEA, OEB and AUC release commissioned study.
The Canadian Gas Association in conjunction with the Canadian Electricity Association, the Ontario Energy Board and the Alberta Utilities Commission have released a commissioned study called “The Industry – Regulators Dialogue on Energy Efficiency/ Demand Side Management 2006 – 2007: A summary Report”. CGA releases ROE report and recommendations
The Canadian Gas Association released a report entitled The Fair Return Standard for Return on Investment by Canadian Gas utilities: Meaning, Application, Results, Implications. Authored by John C. Major, Former Justice of the Supreme Court of Canada and Roland Priddle, former Chair of the National Energy Board, the report discusses some implications of the now-universal ROE (Rate of return on equity) approach and makes recommendations to Canadian energy policy makers and regulators.
